Casa Blanca & Lemuria
A prestigious development of two three-storey luxury houses in Ilsham Marine Drive, Torquay. This multi-million pound site is due for completion in the Spring of 2011 and has necessitated major groundworks to accommodate the properties in a suitable location. We are engaged as Employer’s Agent on this scheme, also acting as CDM Co-ordinators for our client, a national private development company.

Herondyke
A 445 sq. m waterfront property in the South Hams, Devon, completed in 2008. We provided Bills of Quantities and CDM co-ordinator services for our client on this scheme, working with the Oliver Green Partnership. This project included extensive external works and landscaping.

The Cube
A RIBA Award-Winning detached residence, built in a conservation area in Exeter, Devon. We worked with the Architect David Sheppard, on behalf of the client, providing Bills of Quantities as well as Quantity Surveying services to include appropriate budgeting, cost planning, monitoring and advice.

St. Matthias Pre-School, Torquay
A new reception area plus WC facilities as well as a new entrance approach  and outdoor play area were provided for St. Matthias Pre-School. We liaised with  relevant bodies including the Exeter Diocese DAC and the local authority as  grant funding was involved. This project was under strict pressure to come in on  time and on budget, needing to be completed within the school holidays and  within the grant allowance. Both requirements were achieved.

St. Clement’s Church
We were engaged to provide Quantity Surveying Services including Schedules of Work and CDM Co-ordination on the refurbishment and improvement of facilities to this Grade 1 Listed Norman church in Dartmouth, Devon. Total work value was just over £300,000. This was also an extremely sensitive project involving English Heritage and the DAC Committee of the Exeter Diocese of the Church of England. Improvements included installing a new under-floor heating system; re-slating the nave; new kitchen and toilet facilities to include new electrics and plumbing; new lighting and general redecorations.

Browns Dental Surgery
We provided full Quantity Surveying Services, to include Bills of Quantities on this groundbreaking dental surgery designed by architect David Sheppard, located in Ivybridge, Devon and completed in the winter of 2010. A challenging, narrow, sloping site accommodates a large number of structural pillars supporting a concrete beam & block structure, clad partially in stained larch and local limestone. Both the building envelope and the external works are designed to compliment its natural setting.
