Hart & Hunnam was set up in 1976 at the present premises in Walnut Road, Chelston, Torquay as a partnership between John Hart and Robin Hunnam. Robin Hunnam left the company, after 30 years, in 2006 while John's son, Robin, joined in 2008.
John Hart FRICS John is the senior partner of the firm and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). John qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1964 and has gained a wealth of experience in the world of surveying, covering various areas to include quantity surveying, building surveying and valuation. John sat on the RICS panel (as an Associate of the former ISVA) aiding the formulation of the original RICS Homebuyers Report and has also worked as an Expert Witness.
Robin Hart BSc (Hons) MSc MRICS Robin has a background in business and is a science graduate of London University. Robin successfully completed his Masters in Quantity Surveying at Northumbria University. He obtained his NEBOSH General Certificate in 1994 and qualified as a Member of RICS in June 2011. Robin's interests include building sustainability and specialises in the financial management of construction projects including valuations and final accounts.
